This epic adventure takes racers along the core section of the Alabama Scenic River Trail, the longest river trail in a single state. From rushing whitewater to ambling river delta, the race will challenge even the most experienced paddler. In true Alabama fashion, racers will also encounter southern hospitality from "Trail Angels" - paddlers and river enthusiasts who offer assistance throughout the trail. About the race:
self-supported, 650 mile paddle race across the state of Alabama
the race begins in the northeast section of the state on the Coosa River/Weiss Lake and finishes at Fort Morgan in Mobile Bay
race starts September 14, 2019. Racers have 10 days to complete the course
at least $20,000 in prize money to be split between three divisions
